Beer Choir Twin Cities, founded in 2017, is the flagship chapter of the national Beer Choir movement founded by composer Michael Engelhardt in 2015. All are welcome to join in with the proprietary Beer Choir Hymnal, a songbook of 40 drinking song classics, original works, and favorite melodies updated with irreverent lyrics. Beer Advocate Magazine notes “ [this] merry band of vocal enthusiasts have tapped into something deeper and broader than expected.”

Beer Choir Twin Cities, has already appeared at The Fitzgerald Theater, The Minnesota State Fair, Minnesota Public Radio, and the Como Lake Pavilion, in addition to several breweries and taprooms in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Recording artist Jeremy Messersmith and comedian Mary Mack (CONAN, ACME Comedy Club) have appeared as guest artists. Regularly drawing 250+ attendees at Twin Cities events, Beer Choir Twin Cities has also traveled to breweries in Northfield and Duluth to share the Beer Choir experience far and wide.
